New moniker.

I am now wondering if I should also call myself an information architect.  At the heart of my existence, I am a solution architect as I truly am a bridge between the various architectural practices that exist in an organization (technical, data, application, and business).

Yet,  at times a consider myself too much of an artist to be something as banal sounding as a solution architect.  I came across the site for the information architect institute. At this point the focus still seems to a bit “design and usability” heavy to be of great use to me.  However,  I am pleased to see the impact and scope of the information architect is been expanded to include all those of us whose interest is  understanding  social and cultural effects of information systems and their implementations.

But for now, I am still a solution architect.
