Victoria Privacy Conference
So I had a chance to present at the Victoria Privacy Conference. Â The time was short only 35 minutes or so and it was tough to really provide all the information I think is necessary to discuss TRUST and Identity Management.
Nevertheless, there was great feedback and some wonderful people (I say that with a hint of a sarcastic smile) pointed out some very real inconsistencies in my thought patterns. This forced forcing me to spend the last 24 hours reflecting on what it is I am actually trying to say.  Some of the issues that were raised were:
- How do you measure trust?
- What is the exact difference between Authentication and verification?  Is there a difference, Or is Verification a subset of authentication.
- Are privacy, trust, and security really separate? Â If so how do they interrelate?
I am just going to post the questions for now and take some time to think it over and post my thoughts in a later blog.
